Samer Habibi in an Iranian Kamancheh player and stringed instrument maker. He started learning music in the National Music Conservatory of Iran at the age of 15 with some of the greatest Iranian Kamancheh players. He performed in about 50 music albums and collaborated with numerous groups in live projects. Alongside music practice, Samer Habibi has meticulously been involved in making and tuning Iranian Kamancheh. To follow this aspiration, he founded a Kamancheh manufacture called “Changi” in 2008 contributing to the improvement of Iranian Kamancheh acoustically and morphologically.
